Charles W. McDaniel, Chairman of the Board

Charles was elected as chairperson of the UniGroup Board and its operating subsidiaries, including United Van Lines and Mayflower Transit, in May 2021. Charles has been a member of UniGroup’s Board of Directors since 2015 and an industry leader for more than 15 years. Since the age of 12, he has been involved in virtually every aspect of the moving process. 

Charles is currently the president and CEO of Hilldrup. He is the third generation to serve in the role. 

Jason Mills, President & CEO

Jason Mills is the president and CEO of UniGroup and its operating subsidiaries, including United Van Lines and Mayflower Transit. 

Jason serves as chief operating officer of UniGroup. Jason is a trusted leader who has been with UniGroup for nearly 13 years, taking on increasing responsibilities throughout the organization, including leading several business units. Jason has also served in various marketing, corporate development and operations roles for The Coca-Cola Company, Bayer Corporation and Spectrum Brands. 

Jason graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in biology and earned an MBA from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill with a focus on customer and product management.
