ST. LOUIS (Nov. 1, 2019) – John Sabatalo was elected to a two-year term on the UniGroup board of directors. UniGroup is the parent company of United Van Lines, Mayflower Transit and other transportation solutions companies. The election took place during the company’s recent annual meeting in Nashville. Sabatalo is the president at Planes Moving & Storage, headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Sabatalo has been an executive with Planes Companies since 1991 and president since 2003. He proudly served on the UniGroup Board from 2010-2018. He served on the board officer nominating, UniGroup Worldwide and operations committees as well as multiple advisory boards. He also served on the Lexicon Relocation Board of Directors.
