Margie Amelung of A-Mrazek Moving Systems Receives UniGroup Operations Excellence Award

Operations Excellence 2020 - Margie Amelung

ST. LOUIS (March 8, 2021) – Margie Amelung, A-Mrazek Moving Systems of St. Louis, was recently presented with UniGroup’s Operations Excellence Award. UniGroup Executive Vice President of Operations Charles Cunningham recognized her at the organization’s national sales and operations conference held virtually in early March.

The Operations Excellence Award acknowledges excellent individual performance in the field of operations at both their agency and within the UniGroup system. The recipient must have demonstrated a passion for exceptional performance, teamwork, professionalism, integrity, commitment and achievement for a common goal. Only one individual is chosen for the annual award from the tens of thousands of employees at the more than 500 domestic agencies. “Margie’s van operators are consistently recognized for their performance, and she is the driving force behind A-Mrazek’s history in outstanding quality and safety scores,” A-Mrazek Vice President Mike Ploesser said. “While A-Mrazek’s success is built on many people’s contributions, we would not be who we are today without Margie running our drivers, protecting our customers and working with other agents to provide solutions across the country.”

When we asked what this award meant to her, Margie said,

This means we have accomplished our goals we set as a standard for our company. A-Mrazek’s can do attitude has really paid off. I am just the one person who gets to accept the award for the whole A-Mrazek team. But we couldn’t have been nearly as successful without the help from our friends and colleagues at UniGroup, Mayflower and United Van Lines agencies and the van operators. Everyone in the UniGroup system made this happen. We appreciate everyone’s hard work. This is truly an honor, and I am very grateful.
